Tenure-Track Faculty in Environmental Engineering: Biological Processes
The College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences (CEMS) at the University of Vermont (UVM) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Environmental Engineering for Fall 2018. The position is anticipated to be filled at an Assistant Professor level, but exceptional candidates will be considered at the Associate Professor level. Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in engineering or a related field, a proven record of scholarly activities, and potential for strong performance in cutting edge research and teaching in advanced biological tools to solve environmental engineering problems. The faculty member will be expected to maintain an active program of externally-funded research and contribute to two separate ABET-accredited undergraduate education programs (Civil Engineering; Environmental Engineering) and be active in the nationally ranked M.S. and Ph.D. graduate program in Civil & Environmental Engineering (CEE). The ability to acquire professional licensure is desired.
