General Summary: The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Coordinator, Residence Life for Marketing. The Coordinator, Residence Life for Marketing will create marketing materials for Residence Life properties, including managing social media accounts. This position will also serve as a Resident Director in a Residence Hall, overseeing approximately 10 Resident Assistants. This live-on position will serve in an on-call rotation.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: The Coordinator, Residence Life for Marketing will:

  • Develop a marketing plan and create marketing materials for Residence Life
  • Manage a Residence Hall of approximately 300 students, including serving as the advisor for the Residence Hall Council
  • Supervise approximately 10 Resident Assistants
  • Update Residence Life website and manage social media accounts
  • Serve in an on-call rotation
  • Maintain digital materials for Residence Life (Student Handbook, RA Manual, Residence Life handbook, etc.)
  • Manage online training modules for staff training
  • Other duties as assigned.

Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required. Masters in Student Affairs or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in Residence Life required.
  • Knowledge of Publisher, Canva, and InDesign preferred.
  • Experience in Lenel and Banner is desirable.
