Job Description

Job Summary: Primarily responsible for the teaching/learning process and will also participate in the necessary operations of the institution. Other responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Accounting, conduct research, advise students, serve on departmental and university committees and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education/Experience/Skills: Earned doctorate in business from a AACSB accredited institution, with graduate level major, in any area of accounting. Must possess the minimum credential standards of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) which normally include at least 18 graduate semester credit hours in the subject area or suitable approved justifications. Must exhibit the potential for a sustainable record of scholarly activity.

Preferred Education: CPA or CMA credentials preferred.

Preference will also be given to applicants who have demonstrated excellence in teaching and commitment to student advising.
