This posting establishes a pool of candidates to fill non-tenure track lecturer positions to teach one or more undergraduate or graduate level course(s) as needed in the Computer Science and Engineering Department on a part-time semester-by-semester basis. The department is interested in experienced software engineer professional r to teach graduate-level software engineering courses. The department is further interested in part-time faculty to teach a variety of undergraduate courses such as: embedded systems, hardware software interface, object oriented programming, computer architecture, computer networks, computer storage systems, scientific computing, and software engineering. Experience in multiple programming languages is preferred.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:



A master's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science or a related field to teach undergraduate courses and PhD (or MS with extensive experience) to teach graduate software engineering courses.

Preferred Qualifications:




Teaching experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: embedded systems, hardware software interface, object oriented programming, computer architecture, computer networks, computer storage systems, scientific computing, and software engineering. Experience in multiple programming languages is preferred.

Salary:

The salary per course is $5,200. Course sections will vary from term to term and may include required courses or technical electives.
