Responsible for the Instructional training and safety of new students to be trained on the operation of Power Industrial Equipment (Tow-Motors) in line with OSHA Standard 1910.178.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, Certified Tow-Motor Trainer
  • Minimum of five years of demonstrated verifiable professional experience teaching Tow-Motor education.
  • Demonstrated experience effectively making decisions that have major implications on the strategy, management and operations of the Tow-Motor
  • Training Program within the Transportation Center.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in a role requiring dynamic and abstract problem solving methods in adaptive situations

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of Tow-Motor training theories, concepts and practices with the ability to apply in complex, difficult and/or unprecedented situations as it pertains to the departmental focus
  • Demonstrated ability to identify mechanical and maintenance problems, and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Possess strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Possess excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to promote student success
  • Ability to effectively complete work assignments independently
  • Demonstrated intermediate project management skills
  • Demonstrated intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
