Visiting Scholar and Associate Director of the Nature, Environment, Science & Technology (NEST) Stu

The NEST Studio for the Arts at the University of Colorado at Boulder seeks a Scholar in Residence and associate director as part of the Grand Challenge initiative to bridge the arts and sciences, to begin Fall 2018 and continue for two years with the possibility of reappointment. The successful candidate will teach two courses per semester at the undergraduate and/or graduate level; they will help to curate the NEST Studio for the Arts; and they will ideally have some administrative experience to work with the NEST administrative staff to facilitate the organization and operation of events coordinated by NEST Studio. A strong curatorial practice and foundation in art-science initiatives would be welcome. This new position is part of the creation of NEST Studio for the Arts, therefore outreach to campus units as well as a wider community of art-sciences professionals will be part of the Visiting Scholar's service responsibilities.


A terminal degree or equivalent experience is required; teaching experience at the college level is strongly preferred.
