Assistant Professor

The Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Colorado in Denver, Colorado is seeking a board certified/board eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with a sub-specialty in Foot and Ankle. The University of Colorado Denver is located on a 230-acre campus that combines state of the art medical facilities and basic science research. All candidates must have completed a one year fellowship, have an interest in developing a clinical practice and research endeavors, and participate in our resident/fellowship education program.

Clinical responsibilities include actively participating in continued growth of the Foot and Ankle Orthopedics programs at the University of Colorado Hospital. The candidate will provide medical services in both the inpatient and outpatient environments.

Teaching responsibilities include participating in the education of Foot and Ankle Surgery residents, fellows, and medical students.

Research Responsibilities include actively pursuing and participating in research activities as well as mentoring residents and other faculty in research endeavors.

Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with the level of expertise and academic credentials.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree
  • Board certified/board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
  • All candidates must have completed an orthopedic fellowship


Desired Qualifications:

  • Must have an interest in developing a clinical practice, research endeavors and participating in the resident/fellowship education program
  • Experience using EPIC software
