Assistant Professor - Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes
The University of Colorado announces an opening for a full-time tenure eligible faculty position in the Basic and Translational Research Division of the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes, School of Medicine, University of Colorado Denver Anschutz Medical Campus. The Barbara Davis Center is an internationally renowned Type 1 Diabetes clinical and basic science research institute making substantial contributions to patient care, clinical trials, and basic and translational Type 1 Diabetes related research.
We are currently seeking applications from talented investigators at the Assistant or Associate Professor level with experience in the field of Type 1 Diabetes (T1D).
Candidates with interests in the following T1D-related research areas are encouraged to apply:
- Molecular and cellular immunology
- Mechanisms of autoimmunity
- Human islet biology
- Molecular, cellular and developmental models of T1D
Applicants must have a PhD (or equivalent) degree, at least three years of post-doctoral experience within the field of Type 1 Diabetes (T1D), an outstanding publication record and a well-developed research plan. The successful candidate will be expected to establish a strong, extramurally funded research program related to Type 1 Diabetes research.
