Asst Professor

The Division of Urology, Department of Surgery at the University of Colorado School of Medicine is recruiting a general Urologist to join a vibrant, multidisciplinary clinical team. Our urologic service is staffed by full-time faculty as well as mid-level providers and provides urologic care for patients originating throughout the Rocky Mountain Region and beyond. The Colorado Division of Urology is a premier clinical, educational and investigative program offering outstanding opportunities for professional growth and development.

This is a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. The candidate will be expected to provide independent clinical services, supervise advanced practice providers and nurses in providing independent clinical care for patients and direct medical students and urology residents in all aspects of clinical urology. These duties will include clinic at the University of Colorado Hospital, inpatient and outpatient surgeries primarily at UCH. Close collaboration with colleagues, hospital and clinic staff will be necessary.


Required Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree from an accredited school of medicine
  • Board certified or board eligible in urology
  • Ability to communicate clearly as an integral member of a team
  • Eligible to obtain a license to practice as a physician in the state of Colorado

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in general urology
  • Demonstrated proficiency in urology clinical, educational, and research efforts
