Instructor - IR

The Department of Pediatric Radiology is seeking applicants for a full-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant position, in the Division of Pediatric Interventional Radiology at Children's Hospital Colorado under the supervision of the Chief of Pediatric Radiology. Job Responsibilities: Clinical duties involve primarily the provision of outpatient and inpatient clinical service support as well as both procedural and clinical activities. The individual will be trained by the Pediatric IR physicians in image guided minor procedures including central venous access, and enteric access. The job will require clinical duties in both the inpatient and outpatient setting including pre-operative H&P, informed consent, patient preparation for procedures, inpatient rounding, family and patient education, admission and discharge from the hospital, and coordination of longitudinal care of pediatric IR patients.


Minimum Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Pediatric NP or meets the qualifications for a PA-Graduation from an NCCPA-approved Physician Assistant program and a current Colorado State Physician Assistant License. Prescriptive authority is required..

Desired Qualifications:

Candidates with experience in pediatric interventional radiology, pediatric surgery, pediatric neurosurgery or vascular anomalies as well as ability to work independently.
