Overview of Job Duties:

The English department at the University of Colorado, Boulder seeks an Associate Professor of Restoration and Eighteenth Century Studies. The successful candidate will build on our current strengths in 18th - 21st c studies on British literature, the black Atlantic, Global Anglophone literature, and colonial and post-colonial studies. The position carries a 2/2 teaching load with expectations for teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses. The position also entails significant institutional service requirements: candidates interested in contributing to departmental leadership are especially encouraged to apply.


Qualifications

Qualifications: Successful candidates will possess a Ph.D. in an appropriate field in English literature, a distinguished record of publication commensurate with the Associate Professor rank, at least eight years of significant post-doctoral teaching experience at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and a strong record of departmental and professional service.
