Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Position requires 2 years of experience for appointment at the associate level. Associate or Specialized degree as an Administrative Professional or Medical Administrative Specialist, preferred. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can function with minimal supervision.
License or certificate:
This position requires excellent and effective administrative, organizational, verbal and written communication, computer, and interpersonal skills in order to carry out the duties set forth in assisting the Chair, Vice Chairs, and Director of Business Services within Anesthesiology at the School of Medicine and Public Health. This position requires coordination of complex daily academic, clinical, administrative, and research activities. This position must interface and serve as a liaison with Anesthesiology Department faculty and staff, UW Health Administration, School of Medicine and Public Health Administration, UW Medical Foundation, outside administrators locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.
