M.D. or D.O., specializing in hand and/or upper extremity surgery.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Board eligible or board certified in Orthopedic Surgery. Completion of U.S.-based residency program in Orthopedic surgery. Completion of U.S.-based fellowship in hand and upper extremity orthopedic surgery.

Candidates for associate or full professor rank must meet criteria for appointment at rank per established University of Wisconsin-Madison Faculty Division of Biological Sciences guidelines for appointment and promotion on the tenure track.

License or certificate:

Eligible for Wisconsin Medical License.

Position Summary:

The Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation is recruiting an orthopedic surgeon trained in hand and upper extremity surgery. The position will participate in patient care, education of medical residents, fellows, and other learners, and clinical research.
