Minimum $36,790 ANNUAL (12 months)

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field required



Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Minimum of 3 years of related experience required, preferably in an academic medical center setting. Experience or training in teaching, education and curriculum development required. Experience in a health related field preferred.

A minimum of seven years experience required for appointment at the senior level.

A criminal and/or caregiver background check will be conducted.

Position Summary:

The Student Services Coordinator works independently but collaboratively with the Medical Director of Radiology Medical Student Education to support the educational mission of the University and department. The coordinator will be assisting course directors in identifying, developing and facilitating medical student educational curriculum and will be responsible for identifying and evaluating emerging alternative educational media. The position acts as a liaison between students, faculty, and the School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH); requires the ability to work closely with faculty and the SMPH; with skills in leadership, organization and policy management; and an interest using current educational technology including learning management systems, electronic learning modules, and video capture in service of the educational mission of the department.
