Department Overview
The Student Success Technology team is a part of University Information Technology (UIT). This team provides business analysis, configuration, coordination, training, support and testing services in support of campus applications such as Salesforce CRM to enhance student success initiatives.

Job Description
The Student Success Technology (SST) team is seeking to hire a Salesforce CRM Administrator. The position reports to the Director of Student Success Technology. The position will work closely with a diverse group of constituents in technical and functional areas to support and implement campus-wide student success initiatives. In addition, the position will also provide first line support for user tickets. As such, the position requires the administrator to be physically present on campus, Monday ? Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The right candidate is expected to maintain the highest level of security and confidentiality with campus data. The position will represent the Student Success Technology team in a professional manner with our users in university settings.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Daily administration and support of Salesforce including user setup, security, sharing rules, profiles, roles, custom objects, record types, reports, page layouts, permissions sets, workflows, and validation rules
* Analyze, develop, design and implement business process changes in coordination with application changes in collaboration with functional users.
* Testing for customizations, patches, integration & upgrades.
* First line support.
* Development and presentation of training programs.
* Serve as a liaison as required between end users and technical staffs.
* Concierge for SST services.

Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in related field and three years of work experience in computing, information systems, or related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience. The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required:

* Ability to design, code, test and install complex computer programs based on technical specifications using standard development tools.
* Proficient understanding of relational database, client-server concepts, and computer programming, and understanding of all phases of the application development lifecycle.
* Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel).
* Certifications in supported technologies.
* Excellent organization, teamwork, problem-solving, and communication (verbal and written) skills.
* Ability to work well with people in all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree with coursework in computing or information systems.
* Strong skill in analyzing and solving complex data processing and computing problems.
* Ability to perform detailed work accurately.
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
* Ability to communicate clearly, succinctly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Ability to work effectively and collaboratively on multiple assignments, activities, and projects.
* Sales force experience in higher education is highly desirable
