The University of North Texas (UNT) Student Health and Wellness center is a full service medical center offering general wellness and specialty medical care to all UNT students. The Student Health and Wellness Center is staffed with licensed physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, certified lab technologists, psychiatrists, registered nurses, registered dietitians, radiology technicians, and massage therapists.

Job Description
The Student Health and Wellness Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Psychiatric Mid-Level Medical Provider to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

* Psychiatric patient care.
* Inclusion in SHWC committees and projects.

Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following required qualifications:

Physician Assistant:
Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies and two years of experience working as a Physician Assistant.

Nurse Practitioner:
Master's of Science in Nursing and two years of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner.

Licenses, Certificates or Registration

Physician Assistant:
Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) and current Physician Assistant license issued by the Texas Board of Medical Examiners.

Nurse Practitioner:
Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and current Nurse Practitioner license issued by the Texas Board of Nursing.

Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and current Nurse Practitioner license issued by the Texas Board of Nursing.

Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:

* Psychiatric certification as either a psychiatric NP or psychiatric PA. Applicants without this certification will not be considered for the position.
* Previous college healthcare experience is preferred but not disqualifying.
