Job Description
The Union Administration Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Retail Store Supervisor to join our team.

The Campus Store Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of a single Apple Authorized Campus Store (AACS). This position will provide day-to-day oversight of the AACS sales operation including campus relations, sales, customer service, repair service, promotions, merchandising, and staffing.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Ensuring daily store operations are executed in accordance with established policies and procedures.
* Providing excellent customer service to the UNT campus community and other store customers.
* Working with the Assistant Director to develop a business plan for the Apple Campus Store Program, delivering positive financial results through efficient execution of sales and service initiatives.
* Collaborating with the Apple Campus Rep to create effective partnerships between the Campus Rep and Campus Store for engaging customers in quality product demonstration and hands-on events within the Campus Store.
* Maintaining positive, ongoing relationships with campus contacts and continue to develop new contacts through campus outreach initiatives.
* Ensuring the Campus Store is meeting the merchandising and visual standards of the program. This includes the merchandising of the product sales areas and the use of approved fixtures in the Apple sales area.
* Being the 'go-to' resource for understanding the company objective for the Apple Campus Store Program, as well as the legal, contractual, and marketing standards and guidelines that must be observed.
* Selecting, interviewing, and making AACS staff hiring decisions. Overseeing staff training processes, ensuring that the store team is educated, enthusiastic and able to provide recommendations that connect customers with the right solutions or products.
* Protecting UNT assets by enforcing all policies and procedures intended to prevent both internal and external shrinkage.

Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following required qualifications:

High school diploma/GED equivalent and four years of related retail experience. Substitution of education for experience is allowed. The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required:

* Proven skills in developing and implementing a merchandising strategy within a retail channel, preferably with a strong technology focus.
* Extraordinary customer service commitment.
* Experience in developing and measuring customer satisfaction metrics in a retail environment.
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) including formal presentation and training skills.

Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:
* Knowledge of Apple product line, operating systems and software.
* Proven skills in developing and implementing a merchandising strategy within a retail channel, preferably with a strong technology focus.
* Experience with inventory management.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
* Extraordinary customer service commitment.
* Experience in developing and measuring customer satisfaction metrics in a retail environment.
* Excellent communication skills - written and verbal - including formal presentation and training skills.
