Job Description

The Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology seeks strong individuals in any area of modern virology, broadly defined. We are particularly interested in candidates who can form collegial and collaborative relationships with other faculty at MU, capitalize on the broad range of research themes at the institution, and integrate perspectives from multiple disciplines. We encourage applications from individuals who can demonstrate a commitment to increasing diversity, inclusion and access to higher education for groups underrepresented in the sciences. The successful candidate will be expected to establish and/or maintain a strong extramurally-funded research program and to participate in undergraduate, graduate and professional education.


PhD or MD, or equivalent degree with appropriate research training to succeed as an independent investigator.
