Post-Doctoral Fellow - Translational Cancer Immunology, Biology and Therapy

We are seeking a highly motivated, self-sufficient postdoctoral fellow to drive innovative research projects forward in the lab. An experience in immunology or molecular biology and animal work is required. The fellow will work with a multidisciplinary team of investigators and clinician scientists within a translational cancer research program at the Ellis Fischel Cancer Center. A major focus of the research will be on detection and characterization circulating tumor cells involved in cancer detection and progression. The position will also include participating in general lab maintenance, and ordering of supplies
Candidates must be scientifically curious, intellectually committed, and capable of working independently. Strong communication and writing skills are essential to develop and execute independent hypothesis-driven cancer research. Grant-writing skills would be beneficial and will be further developed. This position will be an excellent learning opportunity for someone interested in a future translational biomedical research, cancer biology and immunology or medical career.
