Tenure Track position. Assistant/Associate Professor of Computer Science with expertise in the areas of Software Engineering and Secure Software Development. The ideal candidate would be an expert in both areas with a research focus in Secure Software Development. Additional closely related areas will be considered. Teaching experience in the area is a plus. Activities required of all faculty members include: Develop course curriculum, course lectures, labs, and presentations. Participate in program-level learning assessment. Work with other faculty and administrators in developing program curriculum, standards, and policies. Participate in recruitment and retention activities. Keep active in research activities, including grant writing, publishing, involving students in research. Serve on standing and ad hoc committees, advisory boards, faculty senate, or as a student organization advisor. Attend departmental, college, and university-wise meetings where appropriate or as required by supervisor. Perform other academically-related duties.
Qualifications & Requirements
Ph.D. in Computer Science with research publications in the areas of Software Engineering and Secure Software Development. Doctorate must be earned by the time of appointment. Candidates must have strong research and teaching skills. Evidence of successful grant acquisitions or specific plans for grants seeking in the future will be a plus.
Commensurate with experience.
