Advertised Job Summary
Contribute to scholarly works acceptable for presentation or publication in scientific venues and to grants to help support research.
Assist PI in coordination of assessment and intervention studies on exercise promotion, to include: training of community volunteers who will deliver an exercise program, oversee exercise assessments, data collection, managing data sets, statistical analyses, and supervising students engaged in the study.
Assist with research projects to develop physical activity interventions that can be disseminated to breast cancer survivors.
Assist the Associate Dean for Research with other research-related tasks including manuscript preparation and grant applications.Required Education and Experience
PhD degree or similar doctoral degree in psychology, exercise science, public health, nursing or other behavioral science is required.Preferred Qualifications Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Knowledge and experience with exercise assessments, data collection, managing data sets and statistical analyses.
