The Biomedical Engineering Program at the University of South Carolina (http://biomed.cec.sc.edu) is seeking applications for two full-time Instructors. Instructors will teach courses within the Biomedical Engineering Program, which may include introductory courses, software applications, bioinstrumentation, biotranport, bioelectronics, biomechanics, biomaterials, biomolecular kinetics, and design. Duties will also include participation in student engagement activities such as student advising and recruitment and service on program committees. The Biomedical Engineering Program offers BS, ME, MS, and PhD degrees and currently supports over 350 undergraduate and graduate students as well as a faculty comprising over 20 members spanning the College of Engineering and Computing and School of Medicine. Required Education and ExperiencePhD in Biomedical Engineering or another relevant field of engineering or computing.
Preferred QualificationsRelevant teaching experience or industrial experience is preferred.
