The Department of Political Science (http://artsandsciences.sc.edu/poli/) seeks applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Comparative Politics or International Relations to begin August 16, 2018. The substantive specialization is open to any research area of broad interest. We seek candidates with rigorous research agendas who have published in or demonstrate the promise of publishing in leading Political Science, Comparative Politics, and/or International Relations outlets.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to teach substantive courses in their field as well as courses in the department's undergraduate and graduate methods sequence.Required Education and Experience
This position requires a PhD in Political Science or a closely related field. Completion of PhD degree by the time of employment is required.Preferred Qualifications
