Position Description

Advertised Job Summary

The Videographer/Photographer position at the Darla Moore School of Business plays a critical role in creating marketing content in the form of videos and photographs to be used in Moore School marketing and social media initiatives. This position works as part of Marcom project teams to partner with Moore School program and department heads to create high-impact marketing videos and photos to engage and inform prospects / stakeholders about our programs.
This position owns the video/photo creation planning process, set-up, filming, editing and final review with Marcom and internal customers. Video editing skills are a required skill and experience in this area will differentiate candidates. Provides a vision and creative suggestions on how we can optimize videos to effectively communicate program benefits. Produces videos / animations / photos in line with Moore School standards, while being engaging with the target audiences. Helps capture and produce high-impact photographs to be included in marketing materials and on the Moore School website/social media. Plans, arranges, takes, edits and gains buy-in to photos as they are needed. Ensures customers are satisfied with results. Will develop and maintain the Moore School digital asset database and web-access tool.


At least a two-year degree with two years of additional commercial videography experience or preference a four-year degree in communications with an emphasis on videography/photography

1-3 years of project and/or post-graduation commercial video work preferred
