Advertised Job Summary
Participate in NIH-funded big data research project on HIV/AIDS, treatment and health care utilization in South Carolina (SC). The primary responsibility includes, but is not limited to, big data analysis, literature review, preparation of manuscripts and grant applications, and other related tasks. Specifically, the associate will be responsible for investigating and developing methods for data visualization using statistical software like SAS and other related technologies as needed.Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Doctoral degree in public health, psychology, sociology, education, nursing, or related fields by the time of appointment.Preferred Qualifications
Previous research experiences in HIV stigma, HIV disclosure, psychological resilience, childhood adversity, or neuroimaging are preferred.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Advanced training in research methodology and statistics, strong analytic skills, ability to work independently, effective organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in SPSS or other statistical programming.
