The Department of Political Science (http://artsandsciences.sc.edu/poli/) seeks applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Public Administration to begin August 16, 2018. The position is open with regard to substantive specialization. We seek candidates with rigorous, theoretically-informed research agendas who have an established record of publishing in leading public administration and political science outlets.
Successful candidates will be able to contribute to the department's Master in Public Administration program, with the ability to teach core and elective classes in this program. Successful candidates will also be able to contribute to the department's methods sequence in the undergraduate, MPA, and/or Ph.D. programs.
Required Education and ExperienceA Ph.D. in Political Science, Public Administration, or a closely related field of study is required by the start date of appointment.
