Position Description

Advertised Job Summary

Under limited supervision, performs skilled electrical duties required to maintain and repair campus-wide electrical systems, installs electrical equipment, and remodels existing electrical services to support campus departments.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)

High school diploma and 6 years experience in electrical systems/electrical building maintenance. Must have S.C. Journeyman Electrical License. Drivers License required.

Preferred Qualifications Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Position requires that employee be able to operate power tools and hand tools associated with the electrical trade, including but not limited to, calibrators, power analyzers, calipers, digital and analog micrometers, clamp meters, circuit testers probes, test leads, soldering sets, strippers, cable cutters, and other hand tools.
