Position Description

Advertised Job Summary

Within the Undergraduate Division and under direct supervision of the Director for Specialized Student Services, assists with implementation of Degreeworks audit software into daily operational use for academic advising team as well as other undergraduate tracking programs including Pathfinder. Serves as the designer of major maps and coordinates with University Advising Center and DMSB Departments for updates to their programs. Plans and organizes the various processes related to undergraduate admissions into different programs. Designs surveys and collects data for various assessments related to undergraduate improvements. Assists with assessment related to the Excellence Initiative.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)

Master's degree or a bachelor's degree and 2 years related work experience in an educational setting.

Preferred Qualifications

Two years working experience in an education setting. Experience working in academic advising and/or curriculum design preferred. Experience with Banner, Degreeworks, Blackboard, and Qualtrics preferred.


Excellent attention to detail. Strong organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Adobe, and survey software. Ability to prioritize with competing tasks. Confidentiality of student records.
