Position Description

Advertised Job Summary

Provides administrative and logistical support for training programs, including reservation of facilities, formatting of written materials, preparation and dissemination of training announcements, and processing of registrations. Provides administration support for court liaison staff, including purchase of supplies and processing of travel reimbursements. Assists selected staff with computer applications and facilitates IT support. Responsible for answering the Children's Law Center's main telephone line and handling calls appropriately. Occasional travel within the state is required.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)

Bachelor's degree, or high school diploma and 4 years work experience that is directly related to the area of employment; or equivalency.

Preferred Qualifications

Prefer experience in coordination of training events. Prefer experience with database software and desktop publishing applications. Experience in a legal or social services setting would be a plus. Prefer experience in or capacity to learn basic computer technical skills, such as loading software programs.


Must be highly organized and attentive to detail. Must have excellent computer skills and communication skills. Must be able to relate courteously and effectively to callers. Must be able to perform basic mathematical computations.
