Advertised Job Summary
The leadership coach of the Leadership and Service Center is responsible for envisioning, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual, organizational, and peer leadership training and education programs that provide opportunities for students to engage in meaningful beyond the classroom experiences. This leadership coach position has an emphasis on service and civic engagement initiatives in the Leadership and Service Center.Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Masters degree in Student Services or related field and 1 year related experience, or bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience.
Evening and weekend work is expected as part of a variable work schedule. Driver's license, clean driving record and ability to drive 7 and 15 passenger vans is required.Preferred Qualifications Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Knowledge of the basic principles and theories of student development, leadership theory and public relations. Ability to interact with internal constituents and community partners on regular basis. Experience planning and executing special events and one-time programs. Ability to interpret and apply policy and procedure as it applies to program coordination. Coordinate multiple high level events simultaneously. Ability to develop budgets and monitor expenditures.
