Position Description

Advertised Job Summary

This course is designed to teach skill technique, history, rules, scoring, tournament play, terminology, and strategy of Tennis. It will also include strength and conditioning principles, nutrition and health related concepts.
It will be necessary for the instructor to take attendance, develop quizzes and exams, schedule and implement tournament play within class, create lesson plans and field student questions as needed.


A minimum of a bachelor's degree is necessary along with appropriate proficiency, knowledge and experience teaching or coaching tennis at some level. Must be certificated by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association in CPR.
