Advertised Job Summary
Perform general construction duties to include painting, plumbing, electrical, and other construction and maintenance tasks as needed to complete building modifications. Demonstrate compliance with regard to safety practices and requirements outlined by the University, School of Medicine, and OSHA policies, procedures and regulations. To demonstrate commitment to conducting business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures and regulations.Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Must have a valid South Carolina driver's license. Must have ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and specifications.Preferred Qualifications Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Must be capable of planning, organizing and prioritizing work. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to work independently and perform detailed work. Good reasoning skills needed. Knowledge of safety practices relevant to the area of employment. Required to conduct business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures and regulations.
