Position Description

Advertised Job Summary

The School of Accounting within the Darla Moore School of Business is accepting applications for one full-time non-tenure track position to being August 2018. These positions are designed to offer opportunities for long-term employment with the university, with renewable contracts and opportunities for promotion in accordance with established policies for non-tenure track faculty. Positions are primarily to teach undergraduate accounting courses at the rank of lecturer, assistant clinical professor, associate clinical professor, or clinical professor. Ability to interact with the business community and student organizations is a plus.

Required Education and Experience

Appointment at the rank of Lecturer requires a Master's degree in Accounting coupled with relevant business experience in Accounting. Appointment at the rank of Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor requires a Ph.D. degree. Candidates should possess a relevant graduate degree and should demonstrate the potential for excellent teaching.
