To provide drug and poison information with pharmacist expertise to the citizens of the state of South Carolina.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)

Bachelor's or PharmD degree in Pharmacy; Licensed as a registered pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in providing poison and drug information


Must have up-to-date knowledge of drug and poison information to relay to the public; and, or, skills to direct callers to appropriate caregivers in emergency situations.
