Advertised Job Summary
Contribute to scholarly works acceptable for presentation or publication in scientific venues and to grants to help support research.
Assist SmartState Chair in planning and coordinating new studies including: communicating with community and academic partners, preparing IRB and other regulatory documents, and working with advisory groups.
Assist with research projects to include: database management, informed consent, data collection, delivery of interventions, statistical analyses, and supervising research assistants and/or volunteers engaged in studies.
Assist the SmartState Chair with other research tasks including: research-related meetings and correspondence.Required Education and Experience
PhD degree or similar doctoral degree in nursing, psychology, exercise science, public health, or other behavioral or health science.Preferred Qualifications
Working in home, community-based, and clinical settings. Experience with qualitative research methods. Experience with qualitative research methods.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Knowledge and experience with human subjects research, data collection, database management, statistical analyses, good verbal and written communication skills, ability to work positively and productively both independently and with a team, Must possess a valid driver's license.
