The Florida State University (FSU) College of Nursing invites applications for a full time tenure-track position at the rank of Professor to begin on January 1, 2018. The position of Professor requires teaching in the Graduate Program and leadership in the development of a new PhD in Nursing Program with a focus in health disparities. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct innovative research, mentor junior faculty and seek external research funding.
Candidates will hold the PhD in Nursing or a related field and a Masters or Baccalaureate degree in nursing with demonstrated excellence in teaching and research at the faculty level in a College of Nursing.
Applicants must hold an unencumbered Florida nursing license or be eligible to obtain one prior to the date of employment.
In keeping with the College’s new Indigenous Nursing Research for Health Equity (INRHE) Center, preference will be given to candidates with a record of externally funded research in health disparities and/or chronic disease symptom management in marginalized populations.
