This position is responsible for managing the Integrated Workplace Management System, asset database and associated processes for asset upload and management.
Develops and maintains the Integrated Workplace Management System, asset database and associated processes for asset upload and management. Manage departmental data requirements, level of information detail, oversee master list coordinating requirements, organization and mapping. Utilizes consulting, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills in the development of a department wide asset program. Provides consultation and technical advice when overseeing work with sub-departments on building and managing the asset information database.
Update new construction/renovation specifications based on evolving asset data requirements, standards; manage import format and the process of incorporation during Project Transition to Operations. Work with Design & Construction to define Construction Operations Building Information Exchange (COBIE) requirements and then serve in a QA role to review all submissions from external entities and ensure they are successfully uploaded into AiM.
Use and improve system reports on a regular basis, show asset inventory progress and ensure the right information is being captured for reporting. Act as liaison between Facilities departments providing asset information continuity between project and other FSU entities. Support the Facilities management shops & trades with warranty management.


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other related degree and four years of experience; or a high school diploma/equivalency and eight years of experience.
Note: or a combination of appropriate post high school education and experience equal to eight years.)
Ability to convey technical information to technical and non-technical users.
Ability to develop and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
Experience and the ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
Ability to interpret and apply related federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations.
Knowledge of standard programming languages, concepts, practices, and procedures within the technology field (i.e. C++, Visual Basic, TCP/IP)
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Pay Plan

This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.


If not otherwise specified, schedule is M-F, 8-5.
