The Department of Art History in the College of Fine Arts
This is a two year, full-time non-tenure-track position with a 3-3 teaching load (two separate preps) focusing on our undergraduate Western surveys, Art History 2050 and 2051. The position requires lecturing in a hall accommodating 70 students and mentoring graduate students overseeing discussion groups of about 12 students each. The postdoctorate will be supported by the department’s Media Center staff and two graduate TAs for each of the three courses.
Applicants must have received a PhD in European or American Art History by May 2018 and possess a strong record of teaching experience and success in the classroom. We seek a dynamic public speaker with a commitment to teaching.

Anticipated Salary Range
Salary, $48,000 as well as research and travel funds.
