We are seeking a visiting specialized faculty colleague at the rank of Teaching Faculty I who will serve as the coach for the School’s award-winning Debate and Forensics teams. The faculty member will also lead an upper-division writing course to be taught in a lecture/lab format, including the training and supervision of graduate students teaching the lab sections, and/or teach Principles of Speechwriting. Travel with the Debate and Forensics teams is expected.
Qualified applicants will have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate in communication or another relevant discipline, but ABDs will be considered. Application reviews for both positions will begin on February 28, 2018 and will continue until the position is filled. The preferred starting date is August 2018. This is a Visiting and Time-Limited Faculty position.
