AA, AAS or certification in Computer Science or a related field required. Four (4) years recent experience in hardware/software technical support considered in lieu of degree.
Three (3) years of personal computer hardware/software installation and software troubleshooting.
Experience in microcomputer technology, computer and data communications equipment required.
Project planning experience required.
Experience with PeopleSoft strongly preferred.
Experience managing application servers preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of Mac OS 9.X, Windows 98/2000/XP, Windows NT and Microsoft Office Suite required
Knowledge of server and workstation hardware and software
Knowledge of WAN backbone router and switching operations
Ability to effectively communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel
Comprehensive knowledge of LAN protocols
