Required Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Journeyman [or higher] Plumber License
- Plumbing experience & knowledge of plumbing codes and laws
- Experience working independently and troubleshooting and correcting plumbing challenges, including emergency response

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous employment experience as a plumber (or similar) in government and/or higher education environment
- Ability to effectively utilize blue prints and schematics
- Proficiency managing work orders using a portable electronic tablet/device
- Use of AiM and SAP

Job Description:
Responsible for repairing, replacing, or maintaining assorted plumbing, sewer and related fixtures in good operating condition

Job Duties:
Plumber II is a Journey-level position. Work performed includes performing all plumbing work assignments, including PMs, related to sinks, commodes, urinals, lavatories, showers, bathtubs, floor drains, water lines, and sewers. Exercises prudent, independent judgment on projects without direct supervision

- This position works NIGHTS from 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 midnight.
- Plumber II is required to perform paid rotational on-call duty with other Shop employees.
- Applicant must attach a copy of his/her valid Texas Journeyman [or higher] Plumber License to the application.
