Braille/Assistive Technology Specialist

Under Supervision the incumbent provides the acquisition and distribution of braille text, specific assistive technology and alternative media. Maintains detailed, organized records of document requests and contacts. Maintains regular contact with students requiring Alternative Formats or Braille text. Assists in the production of alternative format conversion services for students with disabilities. Provides instruction in the use of various assistive tools to support students with disabilities. Provides support of various technologies in use by students with print disabilities and students who are blind and visually impaired. Provides supervision of student e-text editors.

Salary: Hourly $21.54
Total Hours: 8am-5pm M-F
