Assistant Football Coach-Intern

Basic Function:

Assist Head Football Coach with duties assigned to help run a successful program.
Perform the duties and responsibilities of this role at all times in a fashion that supports the College’s commitment to creating an inclusive college of academic excellence where a variety of people and perspectives are welcome, and to providing an environment where students from all races, ethnicity, national origins, genders, sexual orientations and backgrounds may succeed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Adhere to the rules and philosophy of the college, conference, and NCAA.
Coach a position assigned by the Head Coach.
Monitor, evaluate, and mentor the student-athletes responsible for based on position.
Evaluate video breakdowns.
Assist with recruiting and retaining student-athletes.

Minimum Qualifications

College degree and Coaching experience.
Recruiting Experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to qualified candidates who also demonstrate a commitment to recruiting, retaining, mentoring and actively engaging with under-represented and underserved populations both on campus and in the broader community.
