Executive Director Of Development, Cancer Programs

Active management of major gift officers through monthly portfolio reviews, pipeline management, annual goal setting and performance review process. Develop strategic direction of major gift and principal gift fundraising for Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center (CFCCC) programs that will contribute to Health Advancement's overall goals. Ensure that major gift officer reports are making progress toward their annual goals. Foster a strong relationship with the Anti-Cancer Challenge (ACC) team and will be expected to provide strategic and philanthropic support for the success of the ACC initiative. Inform, seek advice and counsel, and facilitate discussions with team members regularly to develop agreed-upon strategies and action steps that are fully integrated among the Offices of the Chancellor, the Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor, Vice Chancellor for Health Sciences, Associate Vice Chancellor for Health Advancement, Dean of the School of Medicine, Vice Chancellor for University Advancement, Dean of the School of Medicine, Vice Chancellor for University Advancement, the CFCCC Director's office as well as the school(s) and unit(s) in order to provide an optimized, collaborative process. Articulate and define prospect management policies for Health Advancement in collaboration with University Advancement Prospect Development. Supervise seven subordinates including one Executive Director of Development, Health Advancement, one Sr. Director of Development, Urology, one Sr. Director of Development, Cancer Programs, two Director of Development, Cancer Programs, one Administrative Assistant, and one Development Coordinator.
