Director Of Administration

Under general direction from the Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs (AVCAA), the Director of Administration serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for the Program in Public Health which oversees the departments of Population Health and Disease Prevention, Environmental Health Sciences, and Epidemiology. In partnership with the AVCAA, designs, develops, and implements programs and new initiatives including institutional planning, budget development, financial management, research administration, academic and non-academic human resources, marketing, enrollment management, student affairs, academic assessment and accreditation, oversight of facilities and capital projects, space planning, technology services, and information systems management, and institutional advancement/development. The Director of Administration works with the AVCAA in defining and prioritizing specific administrative support needs related to the department's mission, develops strategies to accomplish these needs, plans, initiates, and executes the activity necessary to fulfill these needs. The incumbent will successfully interact throughout the organization to share information, participate in cross-functional projects and gain support and commitment to achieve shared outcomes, effectively using formal and informal networks. The Director will creates connections between ideas, plans and people, synthesizing information and different perspectives.

Salary: Annual $Commensurate w/ Experience
Total Hours: 8-5, M-F
