Position Summary:
Dean of Students. The Administrative Assistant II works closely with staff, graduate assistants, and student leaders to support student initiatives and programs.

Essential Functions

  • Coordinates and supervises activities of other employees in routine administrative operations.
  • Maintains voluminous and relatively complex fiscal, administrative, and academic records.
  • Revises and maintains filing systems.
  • Reviews various reports and forms for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepares or verifies and channels various interoffice forms, requisitions, vouchers, payrolls, activity reports and similar documents.
  • Maintains departmental budget files and expenditures.

    High School Diploma or equivalent

    Two or more years of related work experience

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    Effective communication (verbal and written), organization and human relations skills; ability to work well in a diverse environment; proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office Applications software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; successful completion of background investigation prior to employment.

    Salary Range: $24,969 - $31,226
