English Temporary Faculty Positions
The Department of English at Kutztown University invites applications for multiple one-year, full-time temporary positions to teach classes in composition, literature, and/or professional writing for the 2018-2019 academic year. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth; and service. Required: a Master's degree in English, Composition and Rhetoric, Writing or a related field. Preferred: MFA or Ph.D. One year of college-level teaching experience required. The 4/4 teaching load will include composition, and may include other courses depending on candidates' expertise and department need. Successful interview, demonstration of teaching ability and experience working with diverse populations required. Salary and benefits competitive.
