Sociology Temporary Faculty Position
The Department of Anthropology and Sociology seeks a part-time Sociologist to teach four classes in Fall 2018 and two classes in Spring 2019. The successful candidate will teach a minimum of two sections of Principles of Sociology and a minimum of one section of Contemporary Social Problems in Fall 2018; in Spring 2019, the successful candidate will teach introductory classes and other courses, commensurate with the departments need. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth; and service. Required: A Master's Degree in Sociology and two years of teaching experience; Preferred: A Ph.D. in Sociology. Official transcripts will be required if called for an interview.
