Our faculty educate nurses to apply knowledge humanely, intelligently, and effectively in a complex changing world. Curry College School of Nursing offers several programs: Traditional BS in Nursing; Accelerated Second-Degree BS in Nursing; RN to BS completion; and an MSN with two tracks: education and administration. The curriculums are based on Quality and Safety Education in Nursing competencies. All nursing programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
The School of Nursing is seeking two full-time Assistant Professors to teach foundational and Medical/Surgical or Population Health courses beginning in the fall of 2018. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated expertise, prior teaching experience, evidence of scholarship and a strong desire to help shape the future nursing workforce.
Responsibilities: The scope of responsibilities includes teaching, advising, scholarship, and service at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Applicants should be prepared to teach day, and evening courses in face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats across all programs at our Milton and Plymouth campuses.
- An earned Doctorate in Nursing or a Doctorate in a related field with an MS in Nursing;
- Five (5) years of clinical experience in Medical/Surgical or Population Health Nursing;
- Teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level (experience with online teaching and simulation is a plus);
- An unrestricted Massachusetts RN license or eligibility for Massachusetts RN licensure.
