Agriculture/Environmental Science Faculty Member

Responsibilities: The position of Agriculture/Environmental Science faculty member is available on a full-time, 10-month basis beginning August, 2018.  The position is responsible for teaching agriculture science, environmental science and additional introductory-level service courses in earth science, physical science, biology, and/or general chemistry which may include evening classes.

Other responsibilities include course level assessment, curriculum design, advising students, and acting as the program coordinator for the Agriculture, Environmental Science, and Landscape programs.

Required: Master’s degree in Agronomy, Environmental Science or related field.

Preference given to candidates with hands-on experience in agriculture, familiarity with Maryland’s agricultural industry, coursework or research focus in soils or physical science, commitment to the ideals and mission of a community college, and a demonstrated ability to teach lecture and laboratory sections.
